Back Creek Valley Overlook

Roanoke, VA


This cute spot we love for all the mountain views as far as the eye can see. Just off the parkway in Roanoke and just up the road from Explore Park, Back Creek Valley is a cute spot at one of the overlooks. With trees, tall grass (when not mowed) open fields, dirt roads and hay bales make for cute countryside backdrop. This area is great for families, Seniors, couples and more.

Gardens at Virginia Western Community College

Roanoke, VA



This gorgeous spot is located at Virginia Western Community College here in Roanoke with cute gazebo, stone steps with greenhouse, benches throughout, cute small benches for kids, and cute little bridge are great for all fun families and couples, senior sessions and engagements too. Spring and Fall the flowers are best in bloom and so pretty then.  

Green Hill Park

Salem, VA



This cute park located in Salem, has many fun spots through out with open fields, walkway paths, and spots close to the river including a cute bridge perfect for family photos and more. This great area works great for all fun types of sessions and great in the fall time as well when leaves fall and start to change too.

Carvins Cove

Botetourt County, VA



This spot is nestled in the back side of Botetourt County a beautiful lake area with cute docks, paths through the woods and small side beaches makes this place amazing to use. The area does change throughout the year and the water rises and in covers the embankments to when the water is lower and you can walk out closer to the water among the many side beaches. Up past the parking area is a picnic and shelter area where there are few more fun spots with views of the mountains and another fun dock as well. These are perfect for families, couples, engagements, Seniors and more. Come during the fall months to see all the gorgeous fall colors among the trees and mountains side too.

Peaks of Otter

Bedford, VA



This cute spot is nestled just off the parkway in the Bedford area. A cute lodge host many fun spots around with cute boardwalk and spots around the lake with beautiful trees and views of the lake and mountains around. These are great for families, couples, engagements, maternity, seniors and more.

Three Oaks Manor

madison Heights, VA



This is one of our newest venue we have started using for fun sessions. This cute little greenhouse is located in Madison Heights area of Lynchburg and is super cute for all types of fun sessions from families, couples, momma's and little ones, engagements as well as boudoir sessions too. They change up their set ups through out the year varying the seasons. They also host small elopements and micro weddings here, so bride to be's would be super perfect to tie the knot at for those who are looking for a more intimate location for your upcoming I do's.

Atelier Studio & Gathering Space

Lynchburg, VA



The Atelier Studio is located in downtown Lynchburg area is a great open space studio with two rooms. This space is great due to its many great windows that allow natural light perfect for all types of photos done here. This space has chairs, couches, plants, small bed with paper backdrops that can be used for photos too. A cute shiplap wall on one side and then cute accent wall on the other used with many chairs or couches makes for great photos here. This space is great for families, maternities, engagements and couples to boudoir and branding/headshot sessions makes this great space to use for just about anything you can think of. They also host cute setups through out the year that can be used for fun sessions too.




*dates are subject to availability of studio. best times are more during the week with more open availability and times usually from 8am to 8pm, however we suggest best times for perfect light in the studio is mid day to mid afternoon.  

Mike's Country Market and Greenhouse

Salem, VA



Mike's Country Market and Greenhouse is a cute little market with greenhouse in the Salem area close to Lewis Gale Hospital. They sell tons of super cute flowers, plants, seeds and more throughout there store and the greenhouse. The greenhouse has two separate rooms full of different plants and flowers making both cute for photos. This greenhouse is perfect for families, littles, couples, maternity and more. Through out the year the change up the bigger room with different seasons like mums and pumpkins for fall and poinsettias and Christmas Trees during Christmas times. This cute greenhouse works for anytime of the year and awesome for rainy days too.

Downtown Roanoke

Roanoke, VA




Downtown Roanoke host many fun spots around town that a great for any type of photos. Spots include Elm Wood Amphitheater area, few fun mural spots in two areas, center in the square courtyard area, as well as cute painted houses that are super cute backdrops, there is also spots around Hotel Roanoke and the bridge area that make perfect photo ops as well. These are great options for families, couples, engagements, seniors, modeling and more.   

Ravens Roost

Lyndhurst, VA




Located just off the parkway close to Lynchburg and Stanton, has picturesque and beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Parking is right at the site so very little walking is needed and soon as you get out of your car you have a breathe taking views. Rocks, trails and cute tree nestled is perfect for those sunset photos.  




*best times for photos here are just before sunset and little after. note that this is a very popular spot and is best during the week with little traffic.

Old City Cemetery

Lynchburg, VA




Located near downtown Lynchburg, this historic cemetery may be bit odd but so beautiful with stone archway, gazebo, benches, old cobble roadway, church and even a swing makes for fun photos and even get to learn some history while there too.

Downtown Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA




With beautiful views of the city, a fun walk around has historic buildings, view of the dams and beautiful stair way makes for fun photos perfect for couples, engagements, Senior sessions and more.

Elmwood Park

Roanoke, VA




This cute park is nestled in the heart of Downtown Roanoke. Next to the library and amphitheater this cute park host beautiful trees, flowers(in bloom starting April) and fun rocks and fun views of downtown too. This place is cute for families, couples, engagements, Seniors and more. Don't forget about the fun fountains down below next to the amphitheater host spots great for photos too. Best times at both are Spring time with the end of March to April with all the gorgeous trees and flowers.

Memorial Bridge Park

Roanoke, VA




This cute park is nestled just below Memorial Bridge and Black Dog Salvage in the Grandin area of Roanoke (part of the Roanoke Greenways). With cute fence line, trees, bridge and patchy areas of cute overgrown grass makes the perfect spot for any fun session like families, mommy and me, couples, engagements and more.

Elmwood Parking Garage

Roanoke, VA




Located in Downtown Roanoke area, this fun parking garage is super cute backdrop for families, couples, kids, and other fun out of the box type sessions you can think of. The top parking deck is the best with views of the buildings around town and beautiful mountain side of Mill Mountain too.

Humpback Rocks Visitor Center

Lyndhurst, VA




Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway is Humpback Rocks Visitor Center which host this cute little farm museum. Here we have a cute backdrop with old farm house and dirt roads with trees and cute fence line making perfect backdrop for any type of photos and the sun peeking through the trees here is just too amazing too.

Hahn Horticulture Garden  

Blacksburg, VA




This gorgeous gardens located on Virginia Tech Campus has great spots among the gardens with flowers, cute little bridge, small pond, and different paths through the gardens perfect for all fun types of sessions like engagements, families, couples and more.

Duck Pond at Virginia Tech

Blacksburg, VA




The duck pond located at Virginia Tech's campus host spaces spots around the pond with cute gazebo, bridges, and overlooks of the pond including The Solitude House that has great porch and steps spaces perfect background for any fun type of sessions like engagements, couples, families and more.

Heritage Park

Blacksburg, VA




Heritage park is a located just past downtown Blacksburg and close to Virginia Tech's campus. It host spacious fields with silo, cute benches, old farm houses, and cute branch archway, making a perfect background for families, couples, engagements, creative sessions and more.

Falling Creek Park

Bedford, VA




Nestled in the country side of Bedford, just off 460 before you hit the Bedford Walmart, Falling Creek Park is a great location with a cute barn with open fields, bridge and few paths along the trees makes great for any fun type of sessions here.

The Albemarle Studios

Roanoke, VA




Nestled just on the out skirts of Downtown Roanoke, our new studios boast beautiful natural lighting space. With fun colored backdrops, to chairs, mirrors and bed too. This space is super gorgeous and great for all types of sessions like headshot/branding sessions to families and newborns, to creative sessions and even boudoir.

Gracely Hill

Buchanan, VA




Also known as Beaver Dam Sunflower Farms, is nestled in the outskirts of Buchanan in Botetourt County. With gorgeous fields, barn, and fences makes perfect for any styled sessions here. Come here in September for their Sunflower Festival. Rows and rows of endless fields of sunflowers makes for fun photos too.

Mill Mountain

Roanoke, VA




Nestled just top of the mountain with views of downtown Roanoke, host a verity of cute spots perfect for all sessions. From pathways just past the star, to their cute mini gardens and pathways to see views of the mountains just off the parkway makes great for families, couples, and more.

Riverside Park

Lynchburg, VA




Nestled just past downtown Lynchburg, is a cute overlook with a super cute water fountain as well as views of mountains. This super cute little area is perfect for couples, engagements, families and more.

True Vine Green House

Fincastle, VA




This super cute little mini greenhouse is nestled in the small town of Fincastle. It host this cute mini greenhouse which makes perfect spot for small families, couples, seniors and more. You can even check out the cute plants and buy some while there. *




*Due to the size no more than family of 4 would be best to use in the space and they don't offer sessions on Sundays. They also are only open from April till October for the seasons.

Wasena Park

Roanoke, VA




Wasena park, nestled in south west area of Roanoke, host a variety of cute spots that are perfect for any type of sessions. From bridge and water areas to the end of the park to benches, trees and walkways of the greenway towards the hospital, makes any space there great for photos.




*Ask us about each spot to get that perfect look. Note that all areas are often used by bikers, walkers and joggers so we will be on lookout to make sure no one gets' run over or hurt. The greenway side towards the hospital shares roadway for drivers so be mindful as well over in that section.

Do you have a place in mind not mentioned above or your own property that you would like us to travel to? We can travel as needed to any location or spot in mind and even your own home. We travel up to 2 hours from Roanoke area, any further we will require travel fees and can discuss milage. If you are looking to have us come to your state we do that too and can discuss further travel and possible lodging fees if needed too.
