We are here to help on your special day by capturing all those fun moments from the getting ready, to fun photos of you and your bridesmaids, to fun silly groomsmen photos, first looks with your family or spouse to be, ceremony, group and family photos, and even into the evening as you party the night away with your guest. We are there to capture all those fun moments just for you and your family.
When first inquiring about your special day, we will get in contact with you and talk more about your dates and set up times to meet with you. When booking us, we set up two dates with our couples. The first date we set up with you we can meet at a local coffee shop, small restaurant, your home or family or friends home, or if you have a busy schedule we can even do over zoom online. There we will talk about details about your big day and all the services we can offer for you along with talking about our add-ons like our usb drives, wall canvases and more. The second meeting we set up with our couples at their wedding venue usually within month to couple of weeks prior to the event date where we can meet there and go over the venue together see how things will be set up and other spots of the venue where we can do group photos, and your induvial photos.

When you pick our Micro or Simplicity Packages get a engagement or bridal session on us. We book a separate day just for you two where you can meet at one of many locations we have shot at before or come to your venue as well to do your photos for our engagement sessions. Bridal sessions if you chose to do instead gives you the chance as the bride to get into your dress and get dolled up before your big day and have photos done on location or at your venue too for photos.
Want to do both? We offer both for additional fee that can be added to your package price or pay separately as well too. Also ask about our bridal boudoir package where you can upgrade or add on to have yourself pampered at our local studio in Lynchburg and get your sexy on and gift a special gift like album, prints, or even a cute 3D viewfinder for additional fees too.
FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
When hiring me for your special day, we will get in contact with you and set up two meeting with you. First is to get to know one another, talk about your details of your big day, talk about services we offer, and just have a fun time. The second meeting we will get with you at your venue and go over the area of how things will be set up and envision how you want your big day to be. We will also go over other areas of the venue for the group photos and special photos of you and your spouse too. We also ask to get a timeline of your big day as well as a shot list of your group photos and those who you want to have in them with you and your spouse. After the day is done we will start working on getting you a few fun sneak peeks within 24 to 48 hours after your wedding date to get to you so you can share with friends and family on your social media and all and then rest then will be delivered by the date we have spoken about with.
We normally shoot our weddings alone however sometimes you may see our assistant with us or if chosen a second shooter. If a second shooter is requested clients can pay additional fee to add to any package. Our second shooter is normally with us from 4 hours to all day depending on what is needing to help capture your special day and photos.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story) during non busy season. During our busy seasons of September to December a maximum 10 weeks will be asked. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, and also order prints from our site if chosen.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Roanoke, VA however we have done many weddings around the valley including Roanoke, Botetourt, Salem, Rocky Mount, Union Hall, Smith Mountain, Covington, Callaway. We can travel as needed for any wedding as needed. If your wedding is within 2 hours of Roanoke no fee will be charged, however if it is 3 or more hours away a travel fee of $150 will be invoiced to our clients prior to wedding date. If lodging is requested a lodging fee of $200 will be invoiced to our clients prior to the wedding and will ask of lodging places that are requested we stay in. For destination weddings both a travel fee and lodging will be discussed by client and us.
How many pictures will we receive?
Depending on the package you chose will depend on how many photos you will get back, however we do not cap photos for our weddings like we do for our regular sessions as we want to capture all your special moments of your special day for you.
*Please note that we only give back the very best edited images to showcase your big day in your gallery as we want the best for our clients so when you look back years later you can still remember your big day as if it was yesterday. We do not give every single photo taken as there can be a lot that my have blurs, or things in the way that could not be fixed in editing thus why we want our clients to only have the very best photos. More will be covered and discussed in our meetings together.
